ABSTRACT
The prediction of failure mode in rock bridges and its shear strength could help us to determine crack propagation path in large rock structure. In other way, the crack propagation path and crack coalescence mode in large rock structure are two key factors in controlling the direction of sliding movement of unstable block and its shear strength.
