Numerical modeling of the mechanical response of recycled materials in embankments

In the last phase of these studies, comparisons between Finite Element Modeling and in situ test results have been done for the different recycled materials. The analyses provided valuable insight into the various mechanisms and phenomena controlling the response of the embankment.
