ABSTRACT
The overall objective of this study is to perform the rational and economical seismic design for vertical shaft. Therefore, a series of dynamic finite element (FE) analyses were performed for the deformation characteristics, the shear force and the bending moment developed in circular Reinforced Concrete vertical shaft.
