ABSTRACT
The tests were conducted in a cylindrical test container of 350 mm diameter and 500 mm height. Four drainage lines were provided at the bottom and two drainage lines at the top of it to allow the consolidation process to develop by either hydraulic and electro-osmosis consolidation. In order to avoid the boundary effects, only suction caissons in vertical mooring systems (TLP) were investigated with this container. Figure 1 shows the scheme for this container.
