ABSTRACT
This paper presents results of centrifuge model tests performed to study the behavior of suction bucket foundations in a silty sand. Excess pore water pressures and settlements of the soil were measured to investigate the failure mechanism of a single bucket foundation. A 4-bucket foundation was used to examine the effect of rigidity on the response of the foundation.
