ABSTRACT
The reinforced soil mass is typically supported by a facing that prevents ravelling of the soil immediately behind the face. Depending on design and aesthetic conditions, many reinforced earth slopes typically have faces inclined and may have a geosynthetic wrapped face to prevent soil sloughing and erosion. The wrapped face maybe supported by segmental modular concrete blocks or fullheight precast panels.
