ABSTRACT
A value of 30 mm/hr for rp and an amount of rainfall (Rp) of 300 mm were chosen as the standard conditions for heavy rain in the prototype, along with a centrifugal force of 50 g.
A similarity law between the prototype and the centrifuge model was studied in terms of soil permeability and precipitation intensity. Notations p and m are used in this paper to denote the prototype and the centrifuge model at 1/n scale, respectively. The value of n corresponds to a scaling factor as well as a value of centrifugal gravity.
