ABSTRACT
The geotechnical centrifuge used was the PARI centrifuge facility, which has a radius of 3.8 m, a maximum payload of 2.7 metric tons and a maximum acceleration of 113 G. The details of the centrifuge were described by Kitazume & Miyajima (1995).
