A new geotechnical centrifuge at the University of Tehran, I.R. Iran

The University of Tehran’s centrifuge is shown in Figure 1, it was manufactured by Actidyn (Model C67-2) and is similar in specification to Dundee University’s centrifuge (Davies et al. 2001). Figure 2 shows the plan and side views of the Model C67-2, which has the following specifications:

1. Centrifuge radius: The platform radius is 3.0 m; the nominal radius is 2.7 m.
