ABSTRACT
The more attractive features in the above centrifuges were incorporated in a conceptual design for the ITS centrifuge. In 2008 Thomas Broadbent & Sons (TBS) were commissioned to develop this conceptual design and manufacture the centrifuge. The centrifuge was installed and commissioned during July and August, 2009. This paper provides an overview of the main features of the ITS centrifuge, including control and data acquisition systems.
