The structure of influent time series in wastewater treatment plants

The most important factor for wastewater treatment is the type of variability in the quantity of influent into wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs). The main aim of this paper was to establish a WWTP influent time series structure, which is necessary to create a prediction model. To do this, it was necessary to identify which methods and functions give the best results for environmental time series data.
