In Poland, and in the EU, the binding standard is a procedure described in standard PN-EN 12457-4:2006 (PN-EN, 2006). In this methodology, solidified waste material is subjected to 24 h extraction with distilled water, at the proportion liquid/solid phase = 10/1.
