ABSTRACT

Today’s manufacturing engineers and plant managers can face a di£cult challenge when choosing among the many available surface cleaning options. Aqueous, semi-aqueous, ¯ammable solvents, and new ¯uorinated and brominated solvents are just a few of the possibilities. Among these many choices, however, one process stands out for its ability to produce a clean, dry part at a reasonable price-vapor degreasing with the chlorinated solvents.
