ABSTRACT
In 2007, I received an Arts Victoria Arts Innovation grant. My partners for this project were Etheira Technologies (a.k.a. Ray Gardiner) for electronics, and Design Sense, an industrial design company based in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. I had worked with Joe Iacono at Design Sense prior to 2007 on an origami-inspired folding set design. Design Sense brought a refined level of design to my artwork by advising on material choice, finishes, and production techniques.
