ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: The more common use of alternative fuels and mineral additions in the cement industry and in the process of concrete manufacturing constitute the reasons for the increased focus on the impact of the environmental conditions on the level of heavy metals leaching from concretes. Such assessments should involve a variety of environmental factors which affect the concretes during their normal service life.
