ABSTRACT
The Kyoto Protocol, similar to the climate change problem attempts to address a complicated instrument blending economics, politics, social and environmental issues in a potpourri pot. It is a truly innovative instrument. While many aspects of Kyoto are interesting, perhaps nothing has come to characterize the Kyoto Protocol like the flexible mechanisms.1
