ABSTRACT
The area of the Middle East (ME) within this chapter encompasses those countries that have significantly interconnected water resources and that do not yet have alternative water sources such as desalination and wastewater reuse. That is: Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, and the Palestine (West Bank and Gaza Strip including East Jerusalem).
