ABSTRACT
Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) possess many unique characteristics making them potentially ideal for a variety of applications. CNTs can be functionalized, which allows them to act as drug delivery systems that can be customized to carry multiple payloads that may allow an effective therapy. This ability may be applicable for challenges seen in infectious diseases and cancer (Rosen et al. 2009).
