ABSTRACT

Ross J. Hunter MD BSc MRCP trained in medical sciences at King’s College London (Times University ranking 11th in UK). He spent a further year at Imperial College London (Times University ranking 3rd in UK) and was awarded his BSc in Cardiovascular medicine in 1998. Since returning to his medical training at King’s College School of Medicine, he has remained an honorary research fellow at The Department of Nutritional Sciences, researching the effect of different nutritional states and alcoholism on the cardiovascular system. He was awarded his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) with distinction in 2001. He trained in general medicine in London and Brighton and was made a member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2005. He trained as a Registrar in the London Deanery from 2005-2008. Since 2008 he has been a research fellow at the Department of Cardiology & Electrophysiology at St Bartholomew’s Hospital London, conducting clinical research and clinical trials in cardiology and electrophysiology. He has published over 60 scientifi c articles of various kinds.
