ABSTRACT
An earthquake is an instability problem of the Earth’s crust and it is a subject of geoscience and geo-engineering. An earthquake is caused by varying crustal stresses and it is a product of rock fracturing and/or slippage of major discontinuities such as faults and fracture zones.
