ABSTRACT
In a case arising in Indiana,3 the defendant had a locked bedroom inside of a house. A dog alerted outside the bedroom and a warrant was issued, resulting in nding cocaine and other drugs. The court found no expectation of privacy given that the police were present in the common areas of the shared home with the consent of the defendant’s roommate.
