ABSTRACT

Inflammation is the reaction of tissue to an aggression, characterized by the reaction of blood vessels, leading to the accumulation of fluid and leukocytes in the site attacked. These characteristics have the following objectives: locate, isolate and destroy the harmful agents. But this answer does not always happen in a balanced manner, referring to disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatoid fever, osteoarthritis, lupus erythematosus, among others, have been widely studied in order to develop new molecules or delivery systems able to reduce inflammation [1]. About this context, Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) are networks of coordination, characterized as a class of porous material and consist of metal ions associated with organic ligands, which can certainly be used as drug delivery systems [2].
