ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: The naturally occurring radioactive gas radon (Rn-222) enters dwellings mainly from soil. Therefore, currently the most important way to prevent contamination of indoor air with radon is via the application of special foils, which are placed between the soil and house foundations. These foils work as radon barriers.
