Adolescent Low Back pain (ALBP) will not kill its victims, nor does it represent an obvious immediate economic cost to the community. A recent review of the international ALBP prevalence literature (Milanese and Grimmer-Somers 2010) highlighted that prevalence rates varied significantly depending on the definition of ALBP used.
