ABSTRACT

In June 1972 Alfred Robens, Baron Robens of Woldingham published his report into the state of “Safety and Health at Work” in the UK, the results of this report are widely accepted today as the initiating process of the current Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (HASAWA 1974), along with the formation of the Health and Safety Commission (HSC) and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
