ABSTRACT
Lehigh University. The SC-CBF was subjected to 31 ground motions at either the design basis earthquake (DBE) or maximum considered earthquake (MCE) intensity levels. The DBE is a ground motion intensity with an approximate 475 year return period and the MCE is a ground motion intensity with an approximate 2500 year return period (FEMA 2003).
