ABSTRACT
Consider the cross-section subjected to the action of the external bending moments about both global axes and axial force as shown in Figure 1. The cross-section may assume any shape with multiple polygonal or circular openings. It is assumed that plane section remains plane after deformation. This implies perfect bond between the steel and concrete components of a composite concrete-steel cross section.
