P-delta effects on the response of steel moment-resisting frame structures

There are different criteria to evaluate the P-delta effects according to codes. EC8 uses the inelastic storey drift and IBC2006 the elastic one to get the storey drift sensitivity coefficient θ.

EC8 states that these effects need not be taken into account if the following condition is fulfilled in all storeys:
