ABSTRACT
The magnetic alignment of the C60 fullerene nanowhiskers suspended in poly(vinyl alcohol) solution under magnetic fields of 10-12 T at room temperature was investigated. The result is very interesting and showed that C60 nanowhisker was oriented with the long axis parallel to the field while the one with tubular structure was aligned perpendicular to the field.
