ABSTRACT

R. Sujatha got her doctorate from Tata Institute of Fundamental Research

(TIFR)/Bombay University and is currently a Professor at TIFR. Her

research interests are in the areas of Algebra and Number Theory. She has

been involved with issues related to science and mathematics education as

a Member of the National Knowledge Commission in India between 2007-

H.N. Ramaswamy is a Professor of Mathematics at the University of

Mysore. He received a doctorate from I T Kanpur in 1982. His research

interests are in Algebra, Number Theory and Algebraic Graph Theory. He is

deeply interested in the aesthetics surrounding mathematics, music and the

nature.
