ABSTRACT
Imaging consists of spatial mapping of a certain quality of an object at a given point. A normal photographic image taken by a digital camera records the amount of re£ected light from a scene within a particular range of wavelengths. Objects which look blue in the image are those which strongly absorb yellow and red light from a white light source and re£ect blue. A blue object illuminated by a red light looks black.
