ABSTRACT

Construction of molecular architectures based on aggregation or

self-association for controlled size and shape is a simple and con-

venient method [1-5]. Of particular interest are efficient energy-

and electron-transfer processes [6-8], which are very related to

the molecular assembly in natural photosynthetic system, providing

better understanding of photofunctional molecular architectures.

These fundamental researches of such organic materials also entail

synthetic and photophysical processes of molecular aggregates with

nanometer scales since their optical properties significantly differ

from those of monomeric species [1, 2].
