16.1 Introduction The digitalization, internationalization, and marketing of the media have created new competitive online and mobile communication forms that have changed both television (TV) and radio. This development manifests in the increased competition
and cooperation with online media (Ala-Fossi et al., 2008). It is very common for TV channels to offer additional information, content, and interaction between broadcasts and the web. “TV meets the Internet” is a global expression that characterizes digital and interactive TV (e.g., Jensen and Toscan, 1999). TV has become a part of the bigger puzzle of interconnected devices that operate on several platforms instead of just one.
