ABSTRACT
Advances in therapy have made cure a possibility for some cancers. For example, multiple myeloma (MM) is generally considered an incurable disease [14], but recent research suggests that some MM patients could be cured. Investigators at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) have developed an approach called total therapy (TT) that has recently been shown to cure up to 30% of MM patients [13].
