ABSTRACT

The agricultural fields that become the heart of the economic growth of the Bali region especially and Indonesia in general, now have begun to be less attractive to the local population. The young generation has been reluctant to engage in farming and prefer to have careers in other fields of work. Some people consider farming is equivalent to dirtiness, tiredness and sickness, therefore it is becoming less interesting as various restrictions result from engaging in farming. The decline of the people’s interest in farming has resulted in a high level of changes in land use.
