A method for clarifying cognitive structure by integrating sentence completion test and formal concept analysis

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this paper is to propose a method that integrates Sentence Completion Test (SCT) and Formal Concept Analysis (FCA). Furthermore we would like to introduce the software we developed which helps the analyst to practice the method. A feature of the method is to collect participants’ cognitive data structurally by using SCT. FCA enables us to interpret general structures of these individual data from SCT. Hence the method is applicable to analyze participants’ cognitive structures hierarchically and deeply.
