ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: Mental health measures for employees have been increasingly focused these days and a survey on the organization structural stress status in public employee’s workplaces, which have been pointed out to be causing too much stress, was performed. Compared to general office employees, management employees are indicated to have higher values for “Caution” in “emotional deprivation” and “life satisfaction” and resulted in significantly higher values for the “depressive tendency”. In relation to other items, it can be assumed that there is also an impact from the structural characteristics of public employees’ workplaces after a personnel reduction in addition to their life environments. Not only improving the target/evaluation system but also considering the reconstruction of daily lives such as reviewing leisure activities is assumed to be effective as a measure against this.
