ABSTRACT
The aim of this paper is to shortly review recent experimental and theoretical work where electrical measurements have been proposed, considered or used as non destructive test techniques to evaluate adhesion. Emphasis will also be placed on the critical interplay between "practical" and "fundamental" adhesion in view of the information that Electrically-based Non-Destructive Testing (ENDT) can provide to unravel this issue.
