A new model to determine contact angles on swelling polymer particles by the column wicking method

Based on the above two concerns, the Washburn equation may not be suitable for determining contact angles on swelling polymer particles interacting with polar liquids. It is the goal of this paper to theoretically develop a new equation to determine the contact angles on swelling polymer particles, considering both pore radius change and energy loss.
