ABSTRACT
The morphology of cerebral arteries and cerebrovascular diseases
vary greatly among individuals. Therefore, it is helpful to construct a
vessel model of cerebral artery for each patient based on individual
information and apply it for preliminary simulation of endovascular
intervention. In this chapter, we propose a technique for constructing
a vasculature model by using individual information obtained with
computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
