ABSTRACT

At both locations (see Figures 1 and 2) an AE array of eight piezoelectric AE borehole sensors was placed in four separate boreholes of 25 m length and diameter 101 mm (Site 1: AE1 to AE4, Site 2: AE5 to AE8) around the central injection well (Site 1: MB1, Site 2: MB2). Each borehole was equipped with two AE sensors. In addition four control boreholes (25 m length, 42 mm diameter)
