ABSTRACT
The geologic repository for radioactive waste ERA Morsleben (ERAM) was constructed in the former Bartensleben salt and potash mine, and used for the disposal of non heat-generating low radioactive and medium radioactive waste from 1972 to 1998. The emplacement zones are around 500 m deep within the rock salt mass.
