ABSTRACT
GmbH (EMPG) in seasonal mode, the multi-cyclic operation mode represents an attractive extension of storage utilization.
Since the start-up of cavern storage operations in 2001, a comprehensive history of seasonal operation data has been acquired. The online monitoring data consist of wellhead pressure and temperature along with injection and withdrawal rates. Geometrical cavern volumes are available from sonar surveys carried out in 2001 and 2010. The related cumulative cavern convergence was evaluated at 5.7%.
