ABSTRACT
However, the characteristics of crack distribution and pattern and the description of the precession of cracks propagation were impact with rock location, rock structure and mineral composition and so on. In this paper we observe the difference of the surface cracks dispersion among salt rock, mudstone and salt-mudstone with fluorescent approach. And we also measure the process of damage in salt rock under uniaxial compression by ultrasonic wave velocities due to its sensitivity to the open cracks.
