ABSTRACT
Natural wool fibers have many wonderful characteristics. For example, even the new sophisticated synthetic fibers cannot match wool fibers with respect to elasticity, water absorbency, felting property, resistance to flame, water repellency, heat retaining property, anti-soiling and beautiful dyeing [1]. Furthermore, wool fibers are biodegradable. However, one of these splendid features, i.e., felting property becomes a negative point when wool products are washed in ordinary washing machine in homes. They become fluffy, shrink in size, and become bad in appearance by felting.
