ABSTRACT

The paper presents the research results on 5 M&A transactions in the companies of a pharmaceutical sector in the years 2007-2009. In the research there was a conviction that the evaluation of the integration effects should be done at least 2-3 years after the transaction. The diagnosis of the range and of the pace of integration in the personnel field was the research aim. There was a hypothesis that M&A processes influenced the “modernization” of a personnel function which is proven by the introduction of modern methods, techniques and personnel tools.
