ABSTRACT
Prior theoretical work has identified categories of socio-cultural structures that provide an analytical context supporting comparative analysis of diverse settings and time periods. The present analysis supplements these dimensions with two exogenous categories, scope and scale and, thereby, extends the basis for analysis of comparative social models.
