ABSTRACT

The Multi-Source Community Pulse Dashboard (MSCPD) is capable of: (a) sensing emerging themes, trends and pattems of beliefs, sentiments, rhetonc, etc., from multi-source data covering large social networks; and (b) correlating it with structural and behavioral dynamics within the same or related social networks. MSCPD has successfully demonstrated the ability to sense emerging themes, trends and pattems of beliefs, sentiments, rhetoric, etc. from multi-source data covering large social networks; and correlating them with structural and behavioral dynamics within the same or related social networks. The widget-based MSCPD provides a simple, intuitive and easy-to-use portal that allows analysts to explore the correlations between themes, sentiment and changes in social networks for datasets derived from blogs, chat rooms, and other social networking forums. MSCPD will assist battlefield commanders to achieve optimal course of action planning by enhancing the understanding of the complex dynamics of tightly connected elements spanning demographic, political, military, economic, social, information and infrastructure dimensions.
