ABSTRACT

Besides the ISB-recommended LCS of the scapula, there have been various LCSs of scapula describing the scapula orientation (Hogfors et al., 1987; Johnson et

joint (AC), AI, and angulus superior (AS) are used to define the LCS with the origin located at AC. This referred to as Hogfors LCS. Since the regression-based shoulder rhythm and the coordinates of the shoulder muscle attachments are available under Hogfors LCS (Hogfors et al., 1987; Hogfors et al., 1991; Karlsson and Peterson, 1992), this LCS is later used for building biomechanical models of the shoulder (Karlsson and Peterson, 1992; Dickerson et al., 2007).
