ABSTRACT

Improving standards of Occupational Health and Safety is not only beneficial for whole society but also for an individual. Using of equipment for personal protection of health at work is increasing. This causes more demand for personal protective equipment. Increased demand could cause also decrease in quality of the personal protective equipment. This raises a question: Are we ready to accept low quality personal protective equipment at the expense of health damage? Therefore the quality of the personal protective equipment, materials used for its production became an important factor. Our article is also dealing with tests on chosen personal protective equipment - protective garments according to the standard STN EN ISO 15025:2003 and quality assessment of the chosen personal protective equipment.
